Enigmatic Scale
When the Enigmatic scale was invented it was presented to music theorists as sort of a puzzle (an enigma) to harmonize. It was a difficult task because the scale has no perfect fourth or fifth to help establish a tonic or tonal center.
The formula to build the scale is: 1 - b2 - 3 - #4 - #5 - #6 - 7
and the steps are: H, WH, W, W, W, H, H.
